FASCAR Classic Cup Series Drivers will head to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Curtiss Shaver 400 on Sunday. This will be the 1st time that the FASCAR Classic Series has raced at Indianapolis.Points Leader Matthew Bowen has a 8 point lead over Rex Hobbs going into the Curtiss Shaver 400 and with only 10 races left in the 2012 FASCAR Classic Series season the drivers will be gunning for Matthew.Matthew Bowen will try and become the 3rd Driver to win the TRIFECTA in the FASCAR Classic Series. Who will be kissing the Bricks after the Curtiss Shaver 400 on Sunday.

Points Leader Matthew Bowen in his #2 Chappelle's Show - Dodge turned in a dominationg performace to win the Inaurgural Race Curtiss Shaver 400 on Sunday afternoon. Matthew Bowen becomes the 3rd Driver in the FASCAR Classic Series to win the TRIFECTA. Linda Schmaltz & Austin Ebach are the other 2 drivers that have won the TRIFECTA. Matthew winning the race that has now put him 26 points ahead of 2nd Place Kevin Vincavage which is the Largest Lead at No. 1 for 2012. Megan Ebach in her #18 M&M's - Chevy scored her 3rd Consecutive Top 5 on Sunday afternoon finishing the race 2nd. Megan moves up 3 spots in the Standings to 8th. Philip Hamm in his #77 Mobil 1 - Toyota picked up his 5th Top 5 of the Season finishing the race 3rd. Philip moves up 1 spot in the Standings to 9th. Mark Erickson Jr. in his #24 Monster Energy - Dodge scored his 2nd Consecutive Top 5 on Sunday afternoon finishing the race 4th. Mark stays in the No. 13 spot in the Standings. Last Race Winner Austin Ebach in his #95 Bass Pro Shops - Chevy scored his 2nd Consecutive Top 5 on Sunday afternoon finishing the race 5th. Austin stays in the No. 12 spot in the Standings. Matthew's 211 points is No. 7 on the Alltime Top 10 High Scores and is No. 3 on the 2012 Top 10 High Scores.
Got lucky again Bowen, someday I'll learn not to pick drivers who get pulled out of the car midweek for a driver of much less caliber.
