What a wild weekend in Vegas! A nearly flawless race that was mared only by three Cautions, and two of those were for faulty lights!
Austin Ebach driving the # 95 John Deere Chevy found himself in Victory Lane lifting the Championship Belt after all was said and done. Austin managed to Lap the ENTIRE field enroute to his first Classic FASCAR Victory since the '07 Season, thanks to a gutsy gamble from his crew chief to pit 10 Laps before everyone else under green putting him in perfect postion when the rest of the field had to come in for fresh Goodyear's & a tank of Sunoco while still under green flag conditions, giving him the Lead and after a few laps was able to mow down all 9 of his fellow drivers and put them down a Lap!
The only other Caution was for the # 10 Cartoon Network Ford of Vincent Cardwell, who was powered this weekend by the new RF9 Ford engine, had an oil line come loose costing him 2 Laps in the Pits while his crew reattached the line.
Pole Sitter Mychal Cardwell wound up 7th after running in the Top 5 all day, when a lugnut popped off the left front on his last stop costing him valuable time on Pit Road and on the track.
It was an all Chevy Top 4 and the single Dodge rounding out the Top 5 this week, proving that Chevy is still the make to beat in 2010!

First off I would like to congrats the #95 of Austin Ebach on a great race and winning the Shelby American.
I know we had talked before the race and "Austin did say that he had a strong car for Sunday's race" but, I didn't think it would be that strong lapping all of us.
The #23 ND Game & Fish Chevy was strong all day long and we actually did lead a lap on Sunday so we are making the right adjustments.
Firstly, big congratulations to Austin and the #95 team. He had a super fast car and there was hardly anything that anyone could do to that 95 car today. It was an extremely great day for the 96 Omega Chevrolet. Finishing 2nd here at a track that hasn't been too kind to us, well it is a good feeling to come away from Vegas with a smile on your face. Now just looking forward to rolling out our brand new truck that has just built back at the JCR Motorsports shop and get on the track in Atlanta. Should be alot of fun on Saturday!
Congratulations to #95 Austin on his win on Sunday, I had a good car on Sunday just couldnt beat the #95 or #96 guess I should have taken 4 tires on the last pit stop. I am looking forward to Saturday and the trucks: should be interesting.
I would like to thank my sponsors of John Deere, Pizza Ranch & ND Game & Fish it's been along time coming and it feels great to finally get that win after almost 3 years.
My #95 John Deere Chevy was great and we keep up with the weather and made the right adjustments all day long and I wasnt sure about the last call that my crew chief made but, it seems that it paid off.
