FASCAR CLASSIC SERIES RACE-DAY
Classic-8.png FASCAR Classic Cup Series Drivers will head to the Darlington Raceway for the 1st time in the Cup Series on Saturday night for the Bojangles' Southern 500.
Back in 2010 the FASCAR Classic Truck Series Drivers raced at the Darlington Raceway where Joseph Cardwell won that race and runner up of that race was Angie Ebach.
Bojangles' Southern 500 is the last race for Austin Ebach, Philip Hamm & Jennifer Ebach to try and make the 2012 FASCAR All-Star Race which is next Saturday night.
Bojangles' Southern 500 is also the last points race before we have month long break in the FASCAR Clasic Series. The FASCAR Classic Series returns to racing Saturday, June 23rd at Road America.
Our Points Leader Wendal Ebach got out of Talladega with a 2nd Place finish and the Points Lead. Wendal Ebach will try and get out of Darlington with the points lead too.
Alltime Record could be tied at the Darlington Raceway if we have our 8th Different Winner of the Season. Last Season we saw 8 different winners in the 1st 8 races of the Season too.

FASCAR CLASSIC SERIES VICTORY LANE
HOBBS 1st DRIVER THIS SEASON TO WIN 2 RACES
Rex-Hobbs-12-CS.pngFASCAR Classic Cup Series Drivers headed to the Darlington Raceway for the 1st time in the Cup Series on Saturday night for the Bojangles' Southern 500.
Rex Hobbs #27 SHARP - Chevy was able to pull away on a green-white-checkered finish from Philip Hamm #77 Mobil 1 - Toyota to win the Bojangles' Southern 500 FASCAR Classic Series race Saturday night at the Darlington Raceway.
Rex scored his 4th Top 5 of the season and moved up 3 spots in the Standings to 3rd.
Philip Hamm #77 Mobil 1 - Toyota scored his 3rd Top 5 of the season and stays 9th in the Standings.
Linda Schmaltz #55 Diet Coke - Chevy scored her 2nd consecutive Top 5 on Saturday night finishing the race 3rd. Linda moves up 1 spot in the Standings to 7th.
Jonathan Carlisle #96 BB&T - Dodge scored his 2nd consecutive Top 5 on Saturday night finishing the race 4th. Jonathan stays 10th in the Standings.
Kevin Vincavage #10 Keystone Light - Chevy scored his 3rd consecutive Top 5 on Saturday night finishing the race 5th. Kevin moves up 2 spots in the Standings to 2nd and is just 9 points away from Points Leader Wendal Ebach.
Points Leader Wendal Ebach #23 Mtn Dew - Chevy scored his 8th Top 10 of the season on Saturday night finishing the race 10th. Wendal stays on top of the FASCAR Classic Series Standings for the 6th consecutive week.
Rex Hobbs score of 210 points is 6th on the Alltime Top 10 Score List and 2nd on the 2012 Top 10 Score List. Philip Hamm score of 205 points is 9th on the Alltime Top 10 Score list and 3rd on the 2012 Top 10 Score List. The Alltime Top 10 Score List is now all over 200 points.
Wendal Ebach leads in the Avg. Finishes with a 3.7 Avg. Finish for the 4th week.
Wendal Ebach ties Mark Erickson Jr. for Alltime Record for Most Times at No. 1 which is 6 Consecutive Races at No. 1.

Congrats on your win Rex.

I had to listen to the race again last night still NO FOX here and it sounded like was pretty good towards the end. Had to watch Victory Lane on SPEED just to see Jimmie Johnson win Hendrick's 200th win and Jimmie's 56th Career Win passing Rusty Wallace.
