That's an awesome trophy Mark. Thank you for sharing the photo of the trophy with everyone. I wish you and your team the very best of luck this weekend and if our UFL games and Thunder Bowl I are anything to go by then this weekend at Miami should be an awesome three races. I know you will bring your best.
Man, I have thought about this all week. I'm so torn between which team I want to win the Championship.
On one hand I want to see Mark win it due to he was the 1st Ever FASCAR Championship in the FASCAR Redline Racing League and he could be the last FASCAR Champion.
On the other hand I want to see Jonathan win it due to it would be his 1st Ever FASCAR Championship.
So after all my thinking I would like to see Jonathan win his 1st Ever FASCAR Championship and go down as the Last FASCAR Champion.
It's going to be a great battle and I cant wait to see who will go down as the Last FASCAR Champion.
Well Thanks Wendal for not voting for me,
I'm OK losing to Jonathan if that's what happens, I like
Seeing new Champions win. Don't think for a minute
That I'm not trying to win.
Good Luck Jonathan.
Good luck to everyone in Homestead! Thanks to Wendal for running this league, sorry to see it end. Had a fun time playing in it and even competing against it one season in the LROC series. I'll be here for football though!
Good luck mark and Jonathan may the best man win. It's sad to know this will be the last championship race ever it's going to be a great one. Good luck to everyone else this weekend too.
Either win or lose I will be happy and just proud of the efforts for this last season in FASCAR. Should I lose to Mark, then I am quite fine with that as it'd be cool to see him bookend his time in FASCAR like that. It would be awesome to win my first championship in FASCAR, and to be the last team to do so, would be very honorable and something I'd always remember. When the wild card round began, I was like let's just see how well I can do. And to have gone on this type of run through the playoffs has just been a great ride, and I'm sure Mark can and will say the same for him. I'm just excited to see what and how this weekend will unfold, and win or lose I will shake Mark's hand. I also want to thank everyone for their well wishes and best of luck's. Just know that I read each post and smile with each comment. Such great persons here.
Good luck Mark! We both will be giving it our best to win this championship.

Thanks Mark for an awesome battle in the Finals, and for being such a class act in sportsmanship. It was a great honor to race you this weekend for the championship. Congratulations on a superb year and I look forward to our games in the UFL. A neat little way to bookend all of FASCAR, you have the first trophy and I will have the last.
I thank you again Mark for all your kind words and for having such a great season, and awesome playoff run.
Thank you very much Angie! Thank you Linda and congrats to Jimmie Johnson for winning #7. It's a great feeling to finally be able to say FASCAR Champion. I will miss the racing against everyone when February rolls around and there is no Daytona Duels, but all good things must come to an end, and FASCAR went on for 13 wonderful years. And I am so pleased and honored to have been apart of a number of those years. It has allowed to the privilege to race against many great persons and to be able to call many of you my friend. Thank you Wendal for this and to your family, to help create all of this for us.
I'm still in a bit of shock, Wendal. But for me the great honor will be when I go and tell my Dad about winning the Championship later today. For many of you that do not know, back in late 2010, my father was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. And for several months there it was very touch and go not knowing if my father would live or not. Fortunately, with the doctors help and with God's touch, my Dad is still with us today and in remission. When I first joined FASCAR, back in late 2008, it was because I had watched a former co-worker of mine all season and talk a bit about the weekly races that he participated in. I knew a bit about racing as I grew up on a few miles from the Talladega Superspeedway. I could hear the cars on the track when they would practice or race, as I lived at my dad's. That's how close we lived to it. During a live race, you could tell by the sound if they were under a green flag or under caution.
He got me started with FASCAR and I began full participation in 2009. My Dad was happy to see me so involved in something, other than my job, that he would sit down with me and I would explain to him how the scoring was done, and translate that to our points that we earned for each race. When he got sick, I had to leave FASCAR for a while, and after doing alot of soul searching and talking with Wendal, I was allowed to re-join in 2012. I am so grateful and thankful to Wendal for allowing me to come back. In these last few years, Dad would always ask me how I was doing in my racing league. Though the tumor and intense treatment left my Dad, a bit unable to fully comprehend and understand information fully as he once did, he would still ask me about the racing league and I would tell him about my last race and how I was doing if I was in the wild card or playoffs.
Last year he was very happy when I told him that I had won the first Thunder Bowl. When the trophy arrived, I took it to him and allowed him to see and hold it for a while. It was like seeing a little kid at Christmas, when I unwrapped the trophy and gave it to him to hold and look at. I can only imagine his face and the smile that he will have today when I tell him that I've won my first FASCAR Championship.
Your phone call last night Wendal was so awesome, and to hear the congratulations from Angie, Megan and Austin it just made my night right there. I thank you all so warmly and kindly for doing that.
Well to be honest, this entire playoffs run just came out of nowhere and totally took me by surprise. I didn't expect it when I made it to the Wild Card round. My goal was to try and survive the wild card and just see what I could do once I got to Texas. I knew that the bracket I was in, would be a very difficult one because yourself and Steve were in it, if I made it to Texas. Along with Linda in the wild card round. Plus I knew that Texas was not my best track as well.
Once the wild card round was over, I was like, "ok deep breath because here's Wendal, at Texas." I was surprised to see the results when they came in and to see that I swept at Texas, and it being you, because normally you have my number in FASCAR. Then the task just got taller with Steve, who had a great regular season in FASCAR, and was difficult to beat. Again, I said "well if it's to be then I shall have to beat the #3 and #1 teams from the regular season to reach Miami." When I swept Steve, I was positively shocked. I looked back and saw, sweep, sweep, sweep, in each round and thought "oh man! This doesn't happen to me. I see other teams going on runs like this, but not me." Then it all hit me that I was in the Finals and facing Mark, for the championship. And then our texting while the latter half of yesterday's race, I kept going back and forth from my tablet to my cell phone checking updates and seeing your messages. At the end I was excited but another part of me felt bad for Mark as I know what it's like to lose a race at the end when you were so close to winning it. I know it's just racing, but I did have that thought in me, that " wow, I know Mark will be disappointed to lose it like this." Like Carl Edwards yesterday, Mark is a great sport and took it like the champ and great representative of FASCAR that he is.
It's been a sweet ride and one that I shall always remember and cherish, but I know that it would not be possible without your help and giving me and all of us the opportunities that we've had in FASCAR. Thank You, Wendal.
Johnathan you seem to have my number in
Championships. I'm glad it was you and not Wendal
That won.
Enjoy you visit with your father, I'm sure is going to be very
Excited. Nascar/Fascar a truly family sport.
