FASCAR CLASSIC SERIES 2012 PREVIEW
The FASCAR Classic Series 2012 Season is going to be the biggest season that we have had so far, adding in 6 more races to the 2012 Schedule giving us a grand total of 21 races.
The FASCAR Classic Series 2012 Season will officially kick off with the Cup Series Daytona 500 on Sunday, Feb 26th 2012 at the Daytona Int'l Speedway. The Season Finale has been moved back to the Charlotte Motor Speedeway on Saturday, Oct 13th 2012.
2011 Season Finale: We had 3 NEW Drivers join us for the Kobalt Tools 500 at the Phoenix Int’l Raceway. The Drivers where Jay Smogolski, Jonathan Carlisle & Steve Willard and in his Debut Race Jay Smogolski won the Kobalt Tools 500 making him Eligible for the 2012 FASCAR All-Star Race on Saturday, May 19th 2012 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
During The Off Season: Kevin Vincavage of MEB Motorsports, Philip Hamm of HAMMAH Motorsports & Rex Hobbs of Wildcater Racing joined up with us for the 2012 FASCAR Classic Series Season.
Let’s Look At The 2012 FASCAR Classic Series Drivers.
Wendal Ebach is our Defending FASCAR Classic Champion & Defending Budweiser Shootout Winner. Wendal picked up 1 win, 7 Top 5's & 14 Top 10's in 2011. The one thing that Wendal wasn't able to do last season was pick up a win in the Truck Series which would have put him on the list of drivers to win the Trifecta here in the FASCAR Classic Series. Only 2 Drivers have done that (Austin Ebach & Linda Schmaltz).
Mark Erickson Jr. finished the season 2nd. Mark picked up 1 win, 8 Top 5's & 12 Top 10's in 2011. Mark Topped the Driver's Standings 8 times and had a Avg. Finish of 5.5 in 2011.
Angie Ebach finished the season 3rd. Angie picked up 1 win, 7 Top 5's & 12 Top 10's in 2011. Angie Topped the Driver's Standings 1 time and had a Avg. Finish of 6.3 in 2011. Angie will look to win her 3 Consecutive Race at the Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, May 6th 2012.
Linda Schmaltz finished the season 4th and is our Defending FASCAR All-Star Race Winner. Linda picked up 3 wins, 5 Top 5's & 14 Top 10's in 2011. Linda tops all Driver will 6 Career Wins in the FASCAR Classic Series. Linda will look to keep her record of winning Back 2 Back Races in 2012, she has done it in every season so far. Linda will look to win her 3 Consectuive Race at the Iowa Speedway - US Cellular 250 on Saturday. Aug 4th 2012.
Megan Ebach finished the season 6th. Megan picked up 0 wins, 5 Top 5's & 13 Top 10's in 2011. Megan had a Avg. Finish of 7.0 in 2011.
Austin Ebach finished the 7th. Austin's highlight of the 2011 FASCAR Classic Series Season was winning the Truck Series - Lucas Oil 150 at the Phoenix Int'l Raceway which gave him the Trifecta in the FASCAR Classic Series, just the 2nd Driver to do so. Austin picked up 1 win, 5 Top 5's & 12 Top 10's in 2011.
Jonathan Carlisle finished the 2010 Season 10th with 0 wins, 5 Top 5's & 8 Top 10's and had 1 start in the 2011 Season finishing the race 4th.
Jay Smogolski started 1 race in 2011 and picked up the win.
Steve Willard started 1 race in 2011 and finished that race 5th.
Jay Smogolski, Steve Willard, Kevin Vincavage, Philip Hamm & Rex Hobbs will all be starting their 1st Full Time Season.

Here at Whooz Racing we will be the 1st to say we got very lucky last season on winning the Championship.

So, we have been working very hard in the off-season to get things ready for the up coming season and defend our championship.
