FASCAR CLASSIC SERIES
RACEDAY - FRED'S 250 - TALLADEGA SUPERSPEEDWAY
Classic-21.png FASCAR Classic Truck Series will head to the Talladega Superspeedway for the (Inaurgural Race) Fred's Super Dollar 250 on Saturday afternoon.
FASCAR Classic Series has raced at the Talladega Superspeedway 3 times in the Cup Series.
Past Talladega Winners:
Angie Ebach (2 Time Winner) - Kevin Vincavage
Points Leader Matthew Bowen in his #42 Jack Daniels - Dodge will head into the Fred's Super Dollar 250 with a 11 point lead over Jay Smogolski and a 16 point lead over Kevin Vincavage. Matthew will be going for his 2nd Career Win in the Truck Series on Saturday afternoon.
No. 2 Jay Smogolski in his #1 Texas Beef Council - Chevy will try and become the 1st Driver in the 2012 to win Back2Back races and with only 2 races left in the Season, Jay will try and cut into Matthew Points Lead on Saturday afternoon. Jay will be trying to become the 5th Driver to win the TRIFECTA on Saturday afternoon.
No. 3 Kevin Vincavage in his #10 Wrangler - Chevy will head to the Talladega Superspeedway with one thing on his mind and that is to win the Fred's Super Dollar 250 and cut into Matthew Points Lead on Saturday afternoon. Kevin will be trying to become the 6th Driver to win 2 Consecutive Races at Same Track.
No. 4 Wendal Ebach in his #93 Cabelas - Chevy is our Past Truck Series Winner at the Iowa Speedway. Wendal will be just trying to get a Top 5 on Saturday afternoon. Wendal finished the Cup Series Aaron's 499 2nd in May.
No. 5 Linda Schmaltz in her #30 Crown Royal - Chevy will be going for her 3rd Truck Series Win on Saturday afternoon. Linda will be going for her 4th Consecutive Top 5 on Saturday afternoon.

Good luck to all this weekend (except of course for MEB).  I love when the trucks take to the high banks of the plate races each season.  I think they put on the best plate racing by far of the three series, too bad I'll have to probably work this weekend and won't be able to watch....

VICTORY LANE - FRED'S SUPER DOLLAR 250 WINNER - WENDAL EBACH

WIN #5 FOR W. EBACH
Wendal Ebach in his #93 Cabelas - Chevy scored his 3rd Win of the Season (5th Career Win 3rd on the Alltime Win List) as he crossed the Checkered Flag in the FASCAR Classic Truck Series Inaurgural Race Fred's Super Dollar 250 at Talladega over Mark Erickson Jr. in his #24 Clemson U. - Dodge on Saturday afternoon.
Wendal stays No. 4 in the Standings but, gains 9 points on Points Leader Matthew Bowen. Wendal was already Eligible for the 2013 FASCAR All Star Race.
Mark Erickson Jr. in his #24 Clemson U. - Dodge finishes the race 2nd on Saturday afternoon. Mark stays No. 12 in the Standings. This was Mark's 5th Top 5 of the Season.
Angie Ebach in her #11 Lil' Acorns - Dodge finishes the race 3rd, this was Angie's 2nd Consecutive Top 5 on Saturday afternoon. Angie stays No. 6 in the Standings and gains 3 points on 5th Place Driver Linda Schmaltz.
Philip Hamm in his #77 USA Hockey - Toyota finished the race 4th, this was Philip's 2nd Consecutive Top 5 on Saturday afternoon. Philip moves up 1 spot in the Standings to 7th.
Kevin Vincavage in his #10 Wrangler - Chevy finished the race 5th on Saturday afternoon. Kevin stays No. 3 in the Standings but, gains 3 points on Points Leader Matthew Bowen.
Points Leader Matthew Bowen in his #42 Jack Daniels - Dodge finishes the race 8th on Saturday afternoon. With the Season Finale next Saturday night -- Matthew will go into this Race with a 13 point lead over Jay Smogolski & Kevin Vincavage and a 16 point lead over the 2011 FASCAR Classic Series Champion Wendal Ebach.
Austin Ebach in his #95 KISS - Chevy sets a NEW 2012 Record for Lowest Points Scored in a Truck Series Race. Old Record was 135 Points set by Kevin Vincavage, Megan Ebach & Steve Willard. NEW Record is 119 points.
Wendal Ebach in his #93 Cabelas - Chevy sets a NEW 2012 Record for Highest Points Scored in a Truck Series Race. Old Record was 195 Points set by Steve Willard (Race 5). NEW Record is 196 points.
